This month CCES will begin working in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) on a project to prepare and deliver a series of Executive and Middle Management Development Programs in Public Sector Management of Trade Facilitation and Regulatory Compliance.
The design and content of the Programs will be informed by a Training Needs Analysis conducted across all Lao PDR Trade Facilitation related agencies.
The objective of the assignment is to develop and strengthen a cadre of government officials at the senior and middle management levels who understand and can apply modern approaches to public sector management and leadership including core competencies necessary to lead and sustain reforms in the area of trade facilitation and regulatory compliance.
It is expected that the project will run until May 2015.
