COVID-19

CCES sends its best wishes to all of its current and former students, and all of its colleagues and friends in the customs and trade community in this very difficult time, and urges everyone to closely monitor the advice from the relevant experts.  Many of you will be required on the front line processing passengers and crew, whilst others will be helping to facilitate urgent medical supplies to much need hospitals and care workers.  The World Health Organisation (WHO) has posted some advice for those dealing with international travellers, this can be found here.

Secretary General of the WCO, Dr. Kunio Mikuriya, published a dedicated webpage to update Members and the general public about WCO’s tools, instruments, recommendations, as well as an HS Classification reference document for COVID-19 medical supplies among others.
