The Centre for Customs and Excise Studies has been awarded a grant by the Australian Government to deliver a training program to help small and medium sized companies in the food and fibre sector, access and utilise Australia’s Free Trade Agreements with China, Japan and Korea.
The Program will be held in major NSW regions and the ACT. The program will concentrate on raising market awareness, provide technical training on the regulatory requirements to enter each market and advise companies on how to best manage their supply chains so that maximum value is returned to the producer. These themes will be delivered through a six week blended learning program comprising online forums, workshops, mentoring and tailored advice.
The first regional program is due to commence in Canberra in August 2016.
