Lorima Vosa is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Consultant at the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies. He lectures in the Centre’s academic programs including directing the ESAMI/CCES Customs MBA program. He also designs and delivers training and assessments in our vocational offerings, and is involved in a range of academic and vocational course development work. Lorima has nearly four decades of strategic management and operational experience in Customs and related border management including 28 years with the then named Fiji Customs Services and Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority. He holds undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in International Customs Law and International Revenue Administration from the University of Canberra and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
Lorima has a wide range of specific skills, knowledge, experience and expertise in the area of Customs and has worked with a number of partners such as the World Bank, ADB, AUSAID, DFAT, WCO, GIZ, DHL, CCQ and the OCO in designing and delivering programs on Customs subjects and running specific Customs projects in the Asian and African continents, the Middle East and in the South Pacific region.
