At the Graduation Ceremony this month one of our esteemed PhD Candidates, H.E. Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al Mehrezi, Director General of a Ras Al Khaimah Customs, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. His research topic was, “Effects of implementing a VAT collection system in the UAE as a whole and Ras Al Khaimah Emirate specifically”. Dr Al Mehrezi’s research will assist the UAE government to identify the best strategy for implementing the proposed VAT scheme.
Dr Al Mehrezi travelled from his home country, Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by his family to receive his hard earned award at Australia’s Parliament House on Thursday 10th April. Later that evening Dr Al Mehrezi and his family attended a dinner hosted by CCES, CEO, Professor David Widdowson to mark the achievements of his studies, along with his fellow CCES Graduates.
