A recent outing to Canberra’s Floriade was organised as part of CCES’s new social program for on-shore students to enable them to integrate and experience both the University and Canberra environment.
Floriade is Australia’s biggest celebration of spring. This iconic Canberra event runs for 30 days over the months of September and October. It showcases one million flowers in bloom, set in Canberra’s Commonwealth Park and entry is free. Over 400,000 local, interstate and international visitors attend each year. This year marks the 25th anniversary of Floriade.
