62 students completed their MBA course in International Trade and Logistics jointly offered by the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies, University of Canberra.
The group commenced the course in May 2010 and it has been a marathon effort by the students to complete 18 core units with three comprehensive examinations. “For me, it has been a great achievement, completing the course amidst family, work and social life was a challenge. I could not neglect any of these and I had to keep up with assignments and examinations. Finally I did it” said one student.
The students have greatly appreciated the support they received from faculty members of both PIM and CCES. They have made a special mention about the understanding, guidance and patience shown by their tutors, lecturers and administrative staff.
The highlight of the course was the study tour to Canberra in January 2012. The group will be graduating at the end of 2012.
