supply-chain-security_93110737

In 2017 the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies will be offering our new course: Supply Chain Security Verification. This course introduces participants to a methodology for systematically evaluating the effectiveness of systems, procedures and controls that are designed to ensure international supply chain security.

The course has been specifically designed to equip Australian Border Force (ABF) officers to verify security aspects of the Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), and is presented in a way that mirrors the structure of the ATT SAQ. A private sector version of the course is also being developed.

  • Develop a logical methodology for identifying and documenting security-related systems, procedures and controls
  • Assess the effectiveness of security measures employed at each point in the supply chain
