CCES attends UC Alumni event in Bangkok

On Sunday 12 July, Associate Professor Rob Preece joined former students of the Master of International Customs Law & Administration (MICLA) and Master of International revenue Administration (MIRA) courses at a lunch for all Thai based UC Alumni.  Thailand has been well represented by Thai students including Prachya Prachsarnpetch, Wunwimon Puengpradit, Warut Satayathum, Salilla Sang-Aroon, Prapakorn Chamchong (pictured with Rob below) and Chantanit Thianum.  This in addition to CCES’ long standing relationships for vocational training and development programs with the Thai Customs and Thai Excise Departments.

The lunch saw about 60 alumni, staff and VIPs in attendance, who heard speeches from the Vice Chancellor Professor Stephen Parker on the future of UC, and Australia’s Ambassador to Thailand His Excellency Paul Robilliard who spoke of the important and deepening relationship between Australia and Thailand which is supported through various education initiatives.
