SRI LANKAN STUDENT WRITES BOOK ON WTO CUSTOMS VALUATION

CCES Alumni M. Ravindrakumar has just finished writing a book titles “WTO Customs Valuation, A Decade of Sri Lankan Experience 2003-2013”. The book evaluates a decade of Sri Lankan experience under the WTO regime and is of practical use to teachers, students, practitioners of international trade and Customs officials. It provides a comparative study of the provisions of the Sri Lankan legislation with those of organisations such as the WTO and the World Customs Organization.

Mr. Ravindrakumar holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as Master of Customs Administration jointly conducted by the Centre for Customs & Excise Studies (CCES), University of Canberra, Australia and Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Mr. Ravindrakumar has more than 34 year’s experience in the field of Customs Administration.
